Collection: Harmonious Pairs (Wagō)

Try Two Scents Before You Commit

When: Exploring new scents | For: Smart sampling & discovering pairings

Four mini tins. Two scents. One practical way to figure out what you actually like before buying full-size candles.

How Wagō Bundles Work ↓

The Wagō Approach:

  1. Choose your bundle: Pick based on what you need—wellness, energy, meditation, or nature connection
  2. Test both scents: Each mini tin (1½ oz) gives you 5-6 hours of burn time to try the scent in your actual space
  3. Use them separately or together: Light one scent in the morning, the other in the evening. Or use them independently based on your ritual needs
  4. Buy what you love: After testing, purchase full-size candles of the scents that work for you. Skip what doesn't
  5. Save 25%: Bundles cost less than buying products individually

Best used when: You're new to Nagomi and want to try before committing to larger sizes, you're building a complete daily ritual and need morning + evening scents, you want to gift someone a sampler without overwhelming them, or you're curious about pairing complementary scents throughout the day.

Harmonious pairs of scnets

About Harmonious Pairs

Wagō (和合) means "harmony" or "peaceful union" in Japanese - the idea that some things work better together than separately. These bundles aren't about matching aesthetics or romantic pairings. They're about giving you a practical way to discover which scents actually support your rituals before you commit to full-size candles.

Why Sampling Matters

You can't know if a scent works for you by reading a description. Lavender might sound relaxing until you realize it gives you a headache. Citrus might sound energizing until you discover it helps you focus better than any meditation scent. Everyone's scent preferences and responses are different. These bundles acknowledge that reality. They give you enough burn time (5-6 hours per mini tin, 10-12 hours total per bundle) to test scents in your actual space, during your actual routines, with your actual nervous system responses - not just sniffing them in a store or guessing from ingredient lists.

How People Actually Use These

Most customers use Harmonious Pairs in one of three ways. First: testing to buy full-size later. You try both scents, discover which one (or both) works for you, then purchase the 4oz or 8oz versions of what you actually want. Second: building a complete ritual practice. You need different scents for different times or moods - maybe meditation in the morning, emotional processing in the evening. The bundle lets you test compatible pairs that support different aspects of your day. Third: low-commitment entry point. You're curious about Nagomi but not ready to spend $25-40 on full-size candles. These bundles give you meaningful trial without major investment.

What Makes These Different from Random Samples

We didn't pair these randomly. Each bundle combines scents that either complement each other (wellness + rest, energy + celebration) or serve different ritual needs throughout the day (morning clarity + evening recovery). The pairings are intentional, based on how our customers actually use multiple scents in their routines. You're not just getting two random candles at a discount. You're getting a curated introduction to how different scents support different needs.

The Practical Math

Four mini tins at full individual price would cost $48. Bundles are $36 - you save $12, or 25%. That's meaningful savings for sampling, but the real value isn't the discount. It's avoiding the mistake of buying a full-size candle you end up not using. One unused $25 candle costs more than trying two scents first and only buying what works.

Our Standards

Every mini tin is hand-poured with the same 100% coconut-apricot wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks we use in full-size candles. Same quality, smaller format. The vessels meet ASTM F2179 fire safety standards and California Prop 65 compliance. Barbara makes these with the same attention she brings to everything - no shortcuts just because they're smaller.
