Lighting Your Candle

• Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This prevents excessive smoke and ensures an even burn.
• Clean Surface: Always place your candle on a clean, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts and flammable objects.
• First Burn: On the first use, allow the candle to burn until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn for the life of your candle.

During Use

• Never Leave Unattended: Always keep a burning candle within sight. Extinguish before leaving the room or going to sleep.
• Keep Away from Children and Pets: Place candles out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
• Avoid Drafts: Keep burning candles away from fans, air conditioners, open windows, or heavily trafficked areas to prevent rapid or uneven burning.
• Use Candle Holders: Always use a suitable holder that's heat resistant and large enough to collect melted wax.
• Keep Candles Apart: Don't place burning candles too close together. Leave at least 3 inches between them.

Extinguishing Your Candle

• Use a Snuffer: Ideally, use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. This prevents hot wax from splattering.
• Don't Blow Out: Avoid blowing out the candle, as this can send sparks and hot wax flying.
• Don't Move Until Cool: Wait for the candle to cool completely before moving it.
