Wood wicks burn differently than the cotton wicks in the rest of our collection:
- Always trim the wick to 1/8" before every burn
- Break off or pinch away burnt, ashy char from previous burns.
- Wood wicks may need re-lighting once or twice on first ignition—this is normal
- Allow a full melt pool to the edge on the first burn to prevent tunneling
- Always burn within sight.
