When Mindful Brew Fits:

Mindful Brew is for people who love the aroma of coffee almost as much as the first cup itself. Light it with your morning coffee, during a slow weekend breakfast, while reading at the kitchen table, or whenever you want the familiar warmth of a coffee shop at home.

Part of our Kisetsu collection, Mindful Brew puts freshly roasted coffee at the center, surrounded by honey, caramel, vanilla, and creamy milk. Subtle fruit and floral notes keep it from becoming one-dimensional. The result is rich and comforting without smelling like a sugary coffee drink.

Scent Profile

Mindful Brew unfolds around the rich, familiar aroma of freshly roasted coffee:
Top Notes: Subtle fruit and floral notes add the brighter character found in lighter coffee roasts.
Heart Notes: Freshly roasted coffee beans take center stage, layered with honey, caramel, and a touch of salt.
Base Notes: Vanilla, creamy milk, and a hint of sugar create a smooth, warm finish.

Product FAQs

▸Not sure which scent is right for you?

Learn how to choose a candle when you're feeling overwhelmed. →

▸ Which size should I choose?

Mini tin (1½ oz): 5-6 hours burn time. Perfect for travel, testing new scents, or small spaces like bathrooms.

4 oz tin: 18-20 hours burn time. Ideal for personal spaces, offices, or trying a new scent before committing to larger sizes.

8 oz glass jar: 40-45 hours burn time. Our most popular size for bedrooms, living areas, and daily ritual use.

12 oz glass jar: 60-65 hours burn time. Best value for your primary ritual scents and larger rooms up to 400 sq ft.

All sizes provide the same quality scent throw—choose based on how often you'll use it and the space you're filling.

▸ How long do your candles burn?

Our candles burn approximately 5 hours per ounce:

Mini tin (1½ oz): 5-6 hours
4 oz: 18-20 hours
8 oz: 40-45 hours
12 oz: 60-65 hours

Burn times can vary based on air temperature, drafts, and how long you burn the candle each session. Proper wick trimming helps maximize burn time.

▸ How do I care for my Nagomi candle?

Good news: Coconut apricot wax doesn't require special first-burn protocols. You can burn your Nagomi candle for any length of time—perfect for quick 5-minute rituals or longer meditation sessions.

Wick trimming: Due to our high fragrance concentration, the wick may occasionally "mushroom" at the tip. Simply trim to ¼ inch before lighting for optimal burning.

That's it. No complicated rules. Just light, enjoy, and trim the wick as needed.

▸ How strong is the scent?

Our coconut apricot wax delivers strong scent throw. Most Nagomi candles are medium-strong, depending on the specific fragrance blend.

Coverage: One candle easily fills the average room (up to 400 sq ft). Many customers report scent extending beyond the room where it's burning.

The fragrance is designed to enhance your ritual practice—noticeable without overwhelming, present without demanding attention.

▸ How are Nagomi Candles made?

Wax: Premium coconut apricot wax blend—no paraffin, no soy. Chosen for superior scent throw, clean burning, and sustainability.

Fragrance: Phthalate-free and paraben-free oils. Vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free.

Vessels: Glass jars (4 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz) made from 50% recycled material, fully recyclable and reusable. Metal tins for mini and 4 oz sizes.

Wicks: Lead-free cotton wicks for clean, even burning.

Safety: ASTM F2179 certified and California Proposition 65 compliant.

▸ Can I reuse the vessel after the candle is done?

Yes! Our glass vessels (4 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz) are designed for reuse.

How to clean:

1. Scoop out any remaining wax
2. Rinse with hot water
3. Remove the wick by using a spoon to pry out the wick holder from the bottom

The vessels work beautifully as containers for small items, plants, or as part of your ritual space.

▸ Are your candles safe for pets and children?

Our candles are made with plant-based coconut apricot wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils. However, always follow basic candle safety:

• Never leave burning candles unattended
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Place on heat-resistant surfaces away from flammable materials
• Keep away from drafts, vents, and ceiling fans
• Ensure proper ventilation during use
